Lubbock has seen many milestones through the past year including the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce being awarded “Chamber of the Year” by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives; the Lubbock Hispanic Chamber of Commerce joining with the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce; and the City of Lubbock celebrating its 100th year, which Mac Davis hosted, just to name a few.

The Chamber serves as the front door for Lubbock. Originally founded in 1913, the Chamber has grown to more than 2,200 members and continues each day to strengthen, promote and serve those member businesses. The Chamber incorporated an employer health care plan which hit a milestone of 10,000 lives in March 2008, as well as added the Hispanic Business Division to meet the needs of minority businesses. As a result of these and many other programs, the Chamber was named the top Chamber in the nation.

The Chamber strives each day to offer innovative programs and services which will continue to enhance and help Lubbock’s business community.
